Celebrity real estate coach Tom Ferry is putting his name on his own customer relationship management software and a suite of tech products for real estate.

The well-known real estate coach is debuting a new CRM in partnership with Contactually, called the Tom Ferry CRM, as part of a rollout of real estate tech products centered on coaching. Ferry is set to announce these new products as part of his Tom Ferry Success Summit happening this week in Anaheim.

“It’s really about the evolution of business coaching,” Ferry told Inman.

“We said we were going to become the first tech-enabled coaching program, starting with video-first coaching,” he added. “Then we said, now let’s build a platform suite of solutions — not just a CRM — to help clients simplify what they do with their coach, to manage and grow their business.”

Ferry started coaching real estate agents almost 30 years ago and has grown to become one of the biggest names in real estate. He puts on several conferences a year and acts as a motivational speaker and author alongside his real estate coaching business, which employs over 100 coaches of its own.

Ferry’s new set of products is called The Hub. The suite includes the new CRM, a referral network informed by an algorithm, video role plays to practice different situations in real estate and tools for business planning and activity tracking.

The main innovation of Ferry’s CRM — appropriate for his role as chief real estate coach — is that it allows real estate coaches to log on and see a version of the CRM with personal client information stripped away to track how their real estate agent clients are doing.

That anonymized view allows coaches to directly see what their agents are doing instead of relying on what agents tell them.

Besides that, the Tom Ferry CRM shares most of its features with Contactually’s other CRMs.

“We’ve been providing the system, the tech part of it. Now what this does is marry that with the coaching side of things,” Contactually CEO Zvi Band told Inman.

The Hub itself just puts products that Ferry has already offered in one place. Ferry’s coaching network already offered a referral network, but now that network is contained under one banner alongside video role plays and other tools. The new referral network allows coaching members to send and receive referrals to and from other Ferry members in different parts of the country.

The video role plays include videos for situations in real estate like phone prospecting, listing presentations and handling objections.

These products are free to Ferry coaching clients, who pay between $6,000 and $12,000 a year for the full program. Ferry said that an announcement on availability and pricing to customers who are not coaching clients would be made on Thursday.
