Curaytor nabs HubSpot designer for top job

The real estate-focused digital marketing firm Curaytor has hired a new product designer away from rival HubSpot to guide its client experience and design efforts.

Nate Lacy

Nate Lacy will join Curaytor on Jan. 7 and serve as the company’s newest director of product, design and services.

Lacy most recently spent a year as a senior product designer at HubSpot, and before that, he worked at sales and marketing company BoomTown.

At Curaytor, Lacy’s roles will include leading projects meant to enhance user experience, team management, and overseeing “all aspects of product lifecycle from design to implementation,” according to a statement from the company.

Curaytor described Lacy’s hire as part of its efforts to expand the company’s expertise and make “its mark in real estate marketing.”

Chris Smith, co-founder of Curaytor, said in a statement that the company is thrilled to have Lacy onboard, and to leverage “his expertise to help drive the company and our customers growth.”

Lacy also said in a statement that he was looking forward to working with Curaytor.

“Curaytor’s platform is the future of smarter and more efficient digital marketing campaigns, and I’m looking forward to expanding its technology to all agents in the real estate and digital marketing industries,” he said.

Boston-based Curaytor was founded in 2013. The company — which repeatedly expanded its services last year — provides Realtors with Facebook ads, marketing email services, and a website that it says is “also a conversion platform.”
