Realogy subsidiary NRT’s Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Arizona now has nearly 1,600 real estate professionals working out of 28 offices with the acquisition of Ken Meade Realty in Sun City, the company said today.

Ken Meade Realty’s 250 sales associates will continue to operate out of the company’s six existing offices as Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

The acquisition further expands Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s presence outside of the metro Phoenix and Tucson markets into the Northwest Valley.

With 2,480 transaction sides and $364 million in closed sales volume in 2012, Ken Meade Realty was ranked among the top 100 independent residential real estate brokerage companies in the United States last year, according to Real Trends.

“This is a key opportunity to strengthen our market presence in the Northwest Valley area by welcoming sales associates who are already knowledgeable and entrenched in this market,” said Malcolm MacEwen, president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Arizona, in a statement.

Steve Meade, formerly president of Ken Meade Realty, said the company’s agents will “greatly benefit from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s advanced tools and technology along with expanded marketing exposure for their clients,” which will “set them apart from the competition.”

Real estate marketing and software provider Market Leader recently signed a multiyear deal to provide its software to NRT’s 41,300 agents.

Realogy franchise brand Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC launched its 2014 national marketing campaign during Sunday’s Grammy Awards with a television spot featuring the Mötley Crüe anthem “Home Sweet Home” driving home the campaign’s “#HomeRocks” hashtag.
