Re/Max has rolled out an INRIX tool that lets homebuyers search for properties by commute time on remax.com and more than 50,000 agent websites nationwide.

The companies announced in January that Re/Max would license INRIX Drive Time to help consumers get a handle on drive times from listings to a work address, school or other commute destination.

“Millions of drivers have sacrificed commute time for work in their efforts to regain employment following the recession,” said INRIX General Manager of GeoAnalytics Kevin Foreman in a statement. “As people relocate or make the decision to move closer to work to improve their commute, INRIX Drive Time provides them with invaluable insight in their search to find a home that not only meets their needs in terms of beds, baths and schools but also their desired commute time in traffic.”

Last fall, Minneapolis-based brokerage Re/Max Results rolled out the first mobile app to integrate INRIX Drive Time.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was the first national website to license INRIX Drive Time, offering the tool when the brand’s site went live in September. Multiple listing service platform provider CoreLogic signed a deal in November to make Inrix Drive Time available to MLSs.

TouchCMA developer Windermere Solutions added INRIX Drive Time in March.

Neighborhood discovery and rental search site Walk Score offers an embeddable widget that real estate websites can add to Google Maps to show travel-time estimates.
