MLSs integrate agent review service

More than 47,000 real estate professionals now have access to a platform that will send customer satisfaction surveys to buyers and sellers at the close of every transaction straight from the multiple listing service.

Boston area-based MLS Property Information Network Inc. (MLS PIN) and West Palm Beach, Florida-based BeachesMLS have directly integrated agent review platform RealSatisfied into their MLS interfaces. Members of each MLS will be able to use the “Lite” version of RealSatisfied free of charge and upgrade to the “Pro” version at a 20 percent discount.

Jeff Turner

“The main benefit, besides the price reduction, that the MLS/association brings to the table is the ability to trigger a reminder to send an invitation to take a survey based on an integration with a [data] feed,” said RealSatisfied President Jeff Turner.

“This is a major factor in the success of customer satisfaction programs. We have found that agents, left on their own, are very transaction-focused and will simply forget to send customer satisfaction surveys if there is not an integration in place.”

RealSatisfied has agreements in various stages with associations and MLSs totaling more than 100,000 additional agents, Turner said.

With RealSatisfied Lite, agents can send and receive an unlimited amount of surveys to clients. They can share up to three reviews on Facebook, Twitter, realtor.com or their WordPress website free of charge. Agents must upgrade to RealSatisfied Pro to share additional reviews.

Carol Van Gorp

“The tools provided are beyond anything else available today,” said Carol Van Gorp, CEO of BeachesMLS operator Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches, in a statement.

“And their approach to data ownership puts the agent first. We are convinced our subscribers will benefit greatly from the reminders we’ll be initiating, the feedback they’ll receive from their clients, and the open way in which RealSatisfied allows them to share their recommendations.”

The association and RealSatisfied share a belief that the focus of client feedback should not be just collecting testimonials, or on ratings, but should instead be on helping Realtors improve the quality of service they provide, Turner said.

These are the first two MLS integrations announced by RealSatisfied. The company has made gains among franchisors and brokerages, and recently signed up franchisor Century 21 Real Estate and its more than 50,000 U.S. agents as an enterprise account.
