As one Re/Max region flips the switch on automation, others may follow

Re/Max of Michigan is the first Re/Max region in the nation to expand the capabilities of its Imprev-powered Re/Max Design Center with automation.

Each time one of Re/Max of Michigan’s more than 1,100 real estate agents and brokers posts a new home listing, a complete digital and print marketing package is automatically delivered to the listing agent.

“For the first time you have what has been heralded as the industry’s largest and most robust marketing platform — the Re/Max Design Center — being enhanced with marketing automation, instead of forcing the agent to use yet another vendor and learn to use yet another tool,” said Bill Yaman, president and chief revenue officer of Imprev, in an email. “For the Re/Max of Michigan agent it’s an all-in-one consolidated application.”

The Re/Max Design Center creates a “Just Listed” package of print and digital marketing materials including fliers, postcards, property websites, IDX virtual tours and YouTube videos.

Dan Troup, Re/Max of Michigan’s director of technology, said the marketing materials created for each listing are updated automatically as needed, such as when there’s a change in price or status.

“This service will fundamentally change the way our agents market their properties,” Troup said in a statement, enabling the region “to reinforce the powerful Re/Max brand across all distribution channels — print, Web and social media.”

While Re/Max of Michigan is the first to add automation to the platform, it’s unlikely to be the last. The Re/Max Design Center was created in 2002 for a single Re/Max region, and was then adopted across the franchise network.

All Coldwell Banker affiliates also have access to Imprev’s suite of marketing content, including digital fliers, websites and videos. In January, San Diego County, California-based Coldwell Banker West was first to upgrade and automate some of the Imprev platform’s capabilities.

Imprev also automatically creates single-property websites, a virtual tour site and a YouTube video for all listings represented by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors.

An Imprev spokesman noted that BHHS Fox & Roach was a new platform developed with automation, while the Re/Max of Michigan solution adds automation to an existing platform, print and digital.
