Takeaways:

Keller Williams Realty real estate agents can now provide past and present clients with easy access to preferred vendors through the agent-branded Keller Williams property search app.

That’s thanks to a new partnership between Keller Williams Realty and HomeKeepr, a home vendor recommendation app that agents can gift to clients and purportedly use to stay top of mind with clients long after a transaction closes.

Besides providing a past client with easy access to an agent’s favorite local electricians, hairdressers, home inspectors, handymen and landscapers, HomeKeepr’s stand-alone app comes labeled with an agent’s headshot and contact information, and lets agents send maintenance tips and updates about local events. The app also can send home upkeep alerts to users.

Because HomeKeepr is now built into Keller Williams’ agent-branded search app, consumers who download Keller Williams’ agent-branded search app get all of that functionality without needing to separately download HomeKeepr’s stand-alone app.

“You stay top of mind as the local expert by providing access to your trusted network of home service providers, directly through your branded KW app,” Keller Williams said in a statement about its partnership with HomeKeepr.

Nick Baldwin, “director of agent education” at HomeKeepr, says agents with Keller Williams’ agent-branded search app can use HomeKeepr for free, but did not specify if they must pay to share HomeKeepr with more than a certain number of past clients.

Agents who sign up for HomeKeepr independently must pay $9.99 a month to share the app with up to 100 past clients.

Other services that agents can use to seamlessly share vendors with clients include OwnerAideDizzleHouseCall and Pro.com’s Premiere Home Services.
