Social media giant Facebook and Inman are teaming up to deliver superior content and networking opportunities for attendees at Inman Connect in San Francisco on August 2 through 5.

Facebook is the most important social network to real estate professionals, based on the findings of a recent Inman special report on real estate agent social media usage. A whopping 73 percent of respondents listed Facebook as the primary network of focus for their business.

On the afternoon of August 2, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., 120 real estate executives will travel to Facebook HQ for CEO Connect, where attendees will get a firsthand look at the inner workings of the social media leader.

The group will discuss various marketing, technology and trend issues, followed by a reception.

On August 2, two special sessions — one for brokers and one for agents — will focus on how to use Facebook to get and keep more customers, among other business-building topics.

In addition, the Lab Coat Agents Facebook Group Learning Lab at Connect session, scheduled for noon on August 2, will look at new opportunities with Facebook, and two sessions on the Connect main stage on Wednesday and Friday will further address business and network-building opportunities with the social media site.

On August 3, Kelly Stonelake from Facebook’s Creative Shop will take the Connect stage to share how businesses of all sizes can think and act like a publisher to garner more business.

“Facebook’s leadership working to help real estate agents and brokers excel has been impressive,” said Inman publisher Brad Inman. “Their support for the industry has been unmatched, and Connect is the perfect place for them to unleash the ideas, their brains and plans to offer even more value to the industry.
