Back At You birthed from merger with Realistiq

Los Angeles-based Back at You Media and Realistiq have merged, according to a press release sent to Inman. Realistiq is based in Las Vegas.

The two companies help real estate agents and brokerages with marketing through websites and social media, respectively, while Realistiq also offers a total back-office oversight platform.

The new company will be called Back At You, and all staff is being retained. As of this writing, Realistiq’s website reads, “Realistiq, by Back At You.”

Broker-owners and large enterprises now have the ability to offer best-in-kind technologies in one seamless and automated platform,” said Michael Glazer, CEO of Back At You, in the release.

In an email to Inman, Back At You CEO Michael Glazer said the merger has been in the works for the past five months and that Realistiq, “Merged into Back At You.”

He said the financial terms of the deal would remain confidential.

With Glazer as CEO, Eric Gaygeshian will serve as COO, and Lyle Karstensen, Realistiq’s former CEO, will be CTO. Glazer and Gaygeshian co-founded Back At You.

Realtisiq has been in business for 18 years and Back At You Media for nine. The latter offers automated Facebook content for its users, localized and regularly published. However, users are able to approve and edit posts or use the scheduling tools to create and publish on their own.

“The combination of Realistiq and Back At You is the dream for an enterprise that wants higher agent adoption and best-in-class technology to maximize sales and productivity,” said Molly Hamrick, managing partner of Realistiq and president/COO of Las Vegas-based Coldwell Banker Premier Realty in the release.

The intent of the merger was to meet market demand for a more unified approach to the entire real estate business process, from lead-gen to closing transactions.

Executives at the new company are stressing stability and a streamlined transition. The new company now as more than 200 enterprise customers and 100,000 agents on the platform.

“For Realistiq clients it is business as usual, as the entire staff has been retained in their current roles,” Karstensen said. “Current clients will continue to receive the best service and support and can look forward to being offered marketing and social media services in the future.”

Prior to the merger, the National Association of Realtors® named Back At You Media one of the top real estate technologies in the world, and Realistiq has won multiple recognitions from Real Trends, including “Best Mobile Site,” “Best Mapping Technology” and “Best Conversion Strategy.”
