Pulse: How are you spreading holiday spirit to your community?

Pulse is a recurring column where we ask for readers’ takes on varying topics in a weekly survey and report back with our findings.

We might’ve seen the worst of challenges in modern history this year, but we also did see the very best of what humans can do when they come together. In other words, 2020 has really put the power of community into clear focus and showed us that a lot of good can come from being open to lending a hand.

Now that we’re approaching the end of the year, you might’ve already brought some much-needed cheer to your own home — think: a twinkling pine tree, wrapped gifts packed with glitter, a lush wreath affixed to the front door. But this week, we want to ask you: What are you doing for your community this holiday season? How are you spreading the cheer (while staying top-of-mind with your sphere)?

We’ll compile a list of the top responses and post them on Inman next Tuesday.
