Century 21 brand coming to 4 new countries on 3 continents: India, Tunisia, Cambodia and Peru

Realogy franchisor Century 21 Real Estate has signed master franchise agreements for India, Tunisia, Cambodia and Peru that expand the brand’s global footprint to 78 countries and territories.

“Extending the brand’s presence in these regions is consistent with our strategic plans for international growth,” said Rick Davidson, president and chief executive officer of Century 21 Real Estate, in a statement.

Century 21 rolled out a global website, century21global.com, in September 2013 that was designed to allow consumers to search all of the brand’s listings from around the world from one portal. Visitors can translate listings into 16 languages and 36 currencies.

In October 2013, the brand signed master franchise agreements for four European countries: Austria, Croatia, Kosovo and Slovenia.

Century 21 revamped its Spanish-language sitecentury21espanol.com, in April by adding school and interactive map search and a mobile-responsive design.

In October, Century 21’s master franchise affiliate in China, Century 21 China Real Estate, reported a $51 million investment from SouFun, which claims to be China’s leading real estate portal.

Century 21’s Realogy cousins Sotheby’s International Realty and Coldwell Banker Real Estate have also recently entered India: Coldwell Banker in September 2013 and Sotheby’s in July.

Century 21 claims 100,000 agents in 6,800 offices affiliated with its brand worldwide.
