Agents can now add HouseLens video walkthroughs to Zillow listings

Real estate agents now have another way to highlight their listings on Zillow using 2017’s favorite medium: video.

HouseLens, a provider of visual marketing solutions for the real estate industry, has joined forces with the real estate portal to integrate HouseLens professional walkthrough video tours on the site’s listing pages at no charge to agents. (HouseLens’ video creation pricing can be found here — packages with video start at $225.)

For HouseLens shoots that do not incorporate professional video, the company is now offering Zillow video walkthroughs created with Zillow’s mobile app as an added feature for $25.

The HouseLens videos will appear as a content block near the listing information and will be viewable without the user having to click through to another page.

“Countless studies have shown that video attracts more eyes to a listing, increases time spent viewing the listing and generates better-quality leads for agents,” said HouseLens founder and CEO Andrew Crefeld in a press release. “Now our customers can harness that power for any listing they post on Zillow.

“Every time a user has to navigate to a new page to find the information they want, there is a higher risk they’ll leave the site. Now, instead of having to follow a link to access a ‘virtual tour,’ homebuyers will instead stay on the listing detail page to watch professional video. This creates a stickier, more engaging experience for buyers,” he added in the statement.

Zillow introduced video walkthroughs created through its Premier Agent and Zillow Real Estate apps in February 2016, and since then, real estate agents have uploaded tens of thousands of these two-minute clips highlighting their property listings’ layout and key features.

Later, Zillow started accepting clips produced without its app for a price, opening up a massive distribution channel for high-quality property videos and a new revenue source for the company.

“This partnership gives HouseLens customers an easy way to get their video walkthroughs in front of the massive audience Zillow commands,” Crefeld said in the press release.

HouseLens also specializes in virtual tours, which you can see here.
