VHT Studios buys Florida competitor, Inviso USA

Rosemont, Illinois-based VHT Studios, the real estate photography and image management services company, has acquired Inviso USA, a central Florida provider of professional photography services to the real estate industry, according to an announcement.

The acquisition pools the resources of the two largest real estate-focused photographer networks in Florida, servicing both residential and commercial real estate professionals, VHT Studios said in an announcement Tuesday.

Existing Inviso USA clients will “immediately benefit from the deep and wide variety of VHT Studios’ photography and visual marketing offerings and resources,” VHT Studios said in the statement.

“With our combined talent base, we are providing even more services to the thousands of Realtors across the state of Florida, as well as the entire Southeast region,” said VHT Studios CEO and co-founder, Brian Balduf.

The company, which already has a presence in Florida, declined to reveal the dollar amount of the acquisition.

This is the 20-year-old company’s third acquisition in the past three years. VHT Studios bought Gotham Photo Company, a leading New York City photography company, in 2015, and in January of this year it bought the photography business of Circlepix, which had a large presence along the West Coast.

VHT Studios, which includes virtual tours, virtual staging, interactive floor plans and drone photography, claimed the marketing tools it provides are helping real estate professionals reduce the time a home is on the market by as much as 30 percent. The company also helps to sell listings at the best price, Balduf said.

“As we continue to grow, we look for partners that possess the same high standards as VHT Studios for quality, service and convenience,” Balduf said.
