Pulse: What client objections are you hearing most this spring?

We want to help you make more money — right now. All month, go Back to Basics with Inman as real estate pros share what’s working now and how they’re setting up to profit in a post-pandemic world.

Pulse is a recurring column where we ask for readers’ takes on varying topics in a weekly survey and report back with our findings.

No matter what field you’re in, nobody likes getting hit with an objection. This is especially true in real estate and even more true in today’s restless and feverish climate. In fact, given just how hot and fast-paced this seller’s market is, it should come as no surprise if homebuyers and sellers have some concerns along the way.

So, we want to explore some of the most common objections clients are raising this year. Just as importantly, we also want to know how you’re responding to them. Because as any successful agent knows, how you handle these objections is what changes a “no” to a “yes.” In other words, what you say matters.

We’ll compile a list of the top responses and post them on Inman next Tuesday.
