“In the army we actually had a saying called, ‘you gotta learn to love the suck,'” veteran and real estate agent Beau Beardslee said on stage at Inman Connect San Francisco.
So what is ‘the suck’ in real estate? For Beardslee, it’s the grunt work — the door-knocking in 100-degree weather, grinding the pavement, cold-calling and doing everything you can to get out and stop hiding behind a screen. And he loves it.
