Designer Calvin Klein’s $75 million two-story, glass-and-wood minimalist Hamptons home, which has been in the making for nearly six years, is nearing completion and generating buzz among the New York City elite, according to the New York Times.
The home, which took three architects and Klein’s board-by-board attention, included a $350,000 full-scale mock-up and a reshaping of some of the beachfront sand dunes.
“Every two or three years there’s a house that captures the imagination of the people and the press out there,” a New York City socialite told the Times.
