By Inman News, Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Long-term mortgage interest rates were lower Tuesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield dipped at 4.5 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average fell to 5.72 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate was down at 5.3 percent. The 1-year adjustable held steady at 4.54 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield decreased to 4.5 percent.
