Nightly real estate rates fall
30-year fixed rate at 5.8%; 10-year Treasury yield at 3.81%
By Inman News, Friday, May 16, 2008.Long-term mortgage interest rates were down Thursday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield slipped to 3.81 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average fell to 5.8 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate sank to 5.41 percent. Meanwhile, the 1-year adjustable rate stayed at 5.92 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield dipped to 4.55 percent.
