Indiana's Lafayette Marketplace bought
Large vacancy reported at closing
By Inman News, Tuesday, May 20, 2008.A 214,876-square-foot retail center in Lafayette, Ind., has sold to a limited liability company for approximately $21.4 million.
Baceline Investments LLC purchased the property, Lafayette Marketplace, free and clear of debt from Kimco Realty Corp.
Lafayette Marketplace, built in 1996, is located on State Road 38 across from the Tippecanoe Mall. At the time of sale, it was 80 percent leased to tenants that included Michaels, Petsmart, Pier 1 Imports and Staples.
