Real estate rates end night lower
30-year fixed rate at 5.71%; 10-year Treasury yield at 3.77%
By Inman News, Wednesday, May 21, 2008.Long-term mortgage interest rates drifted lower Tuesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield sank to 3.77 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average dipped to 5.71 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate sank to 5.3 percent. Meanwhile, the 1-year adjustable rate fell to 5.9 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield dropped to 4.53 percent.
