RE/MAX partners with REO software firm

By Inman News, Monday, October 20, 2008.Franchise company RE/MAX International Inc. announced a partnership today with tech company REO Maestro to offer software to help agents manage foreclosure property listings. The workflow management software offers a range of expense and performance tracking functions and an online forums for agents to interact, among other features.
Kristi Graning, senior vice president of information technology and eBusiness at RE/MAX International, said in a statement, "The foreclosure market, unfortunately, is not receding, and we want our agents well-positioned" to work with bank-owned foreclosure properties, also known as real estate-owned or REO properties.

I look forward to giving REO Maestro a spin. Even in a area that has a fairly strong market still we are seeing more REO's and August was a very good month for us because of REO.
