Birdview clients get free foreclosure listings

Birdview Technologies, which powers the Web sites of 40,000 U.S. real estate agents, is offering its clients access to free foreclosure listings through a partnership with ForeclosurePoint.com.

Under the agreement, visitors to the broker and agent sites can view such data as full property street addresses, default filing dates, estimated opening auction bids and satellite images of millions of short-sale, foreclosure auction and bank-owned listings.

Strategically, the move aims to satisfy "mainstream market demand for default property information in a manner that greatly improves agents' conversion of online buyer traffic to leads," according to a company statement, while also helping to "dispose of this discount inventory more rapidly, helping the overall market to recover."
