Century 21 offers $221K sweepstakes

By Inman News, Monday, April 6, 2009.Real estate brokerage company Century 21 has launched a sweepstakes with a grand prize of $221,000 toward the purchase of a new home. The drawing for the grand prize is planned at the end of May.
The "Path to Your Dreams" contest, which began April 1 and runs through May 6, also offers eight regional prizes of $5,000, and 10,500 instant winners will receive $10 gift cards. Consumers can enter online or by attending a Century 21 open house event

This is just smoke and mirrors that makes us all look bad.
Why not offer great service at a fair price.
That is what the consumers want and need in this market. Not a spin on the roulette wheel.
