Chris Smith, Tech Savvy Agent co-founder, joins Inman News
Well-known blogger will star in daily videos

Chris SmithALAMEDA, Calif. -- Inman News today announced the appointment of Chris Smith as the company's chief evangelist. Smith comes to the company from Move Inc., where he has served as Internet marketing and social media consultant and co-founder of the Tech Savvy Agent blog.
Smith's appointment is effective June 1. He will produce and star in his own daily video series, set to debut July 1 on the Inman website, www.inman.com. Smith's responsibilities will include "promoting best practices in real estate marketing, technology, and sales" at Inman.com and at Inman events, such as Agent Reboot, the company said. Smith has previously been a speaker at Agent Reboot events.
"Whether it's telling agents how to use the latest technology, or showing them how to market listings effectively, Chris is able to make even the most complex topics easy. We are pleased to add him to the Inman team," said Inman CEO Tim Smith.
Inman readers voted Chris Smith the People's Choice for Most Influential Person in Real Estate in 2010. The Tech Savvy Agent blog also won last year's Inman Innovator Award for most innovative blog.

Awesome choice, Inman! I have read Chris for a long time and recently had the pleasure of meeting Chris at ReBoot. He's a great speaker, enthusiastic and really knows his 'stuff!' Chris will be a wonderful evangelist for Inman.

Brilliant move by Inman bringing Chris aboard.Chris has done wonders in helping agents to understand that technology is not something to fear,but something to embrace and integrate into how they do business.
