Homebuyers to compete in real estate SCVNGR hunt
2nd annual 'Race for the Home' event set for May 14

Flickr image courtesy of cameronparkins.Prudential Georgia Realty, a real estate brokerage based in metro Atlanta, has teamed up with property search site HomeFinder.com and mobile gaming platform SCVNGR to offer some 500 prospective homebuyers the chance to compete for a $15,000 down payment on a home purchase.
The second annual "Race for the Home" contest is set for this Saturday, May 14. Participation is free and contestants can either register onsite at Villages Amphitheater in Fayetteville, Ga., or at RacefortheHome.com.
The prize will go to the homebuyers who get the most points by completing simple challenges at Prudential Georgia Realty open houses. Participants will get challenges via text message on their mobile phones.
The contest will also help raise funds for The Sunshine Kids foundation for children with cancer.
