Names of neighborhoods and cities populate on a list as consumers type search queries. Only neighborhoods officially recognized by cities and counties are searchable, the company said.

Edina Realty also recently added a Walk Score to each listing on its site, which gauges a neighborhood’s walkability on a scale of zero to 100 based on nearby amenities.

Edina Realty has about 60 offices and 2,450 sales associates in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin. According to the company, Edina Realty handled more than 28,000 transactions and $5.8 billion in sales volume last year. HomeServices of America was the second-largest brokerage in the nation by both transaction sides and sales volume in 2009, according to an annual Real Trends report.
