Christie’s International Real Estate is expanding into Poland through a new affiliation with Warsaw-based Vilea Property Boutique.

Christie’s International Real Estate is expanding into Poland through a new affiliation with Warsaw-based Vilea Property Boutique, extending the luxury brand’s reach in Central and Eastern Europe, the company announced Tuesday.

Founded in 2013 by Adrian and Anna Kołodziej, Vilea has 35 agents across three Warsaw offices and will serve as Christie’s International Real Estate’s exclusive affiliate in Poland. The brokerage has more than doubled its annual sales volume since 2022 and also operates Vilea Abroad, which serves Polish clients buying property overseas, Christie’s said.

“With Poland experiencing substantial economic growth and private wealth creation, and Warsaw’s prime residential segment becoming increasingly international, we believe the timing is ideal for Vilea to represent Christie’s International Real Estate in this dynamic market,” Kołodziej said in the announcement.

Vilea will gain access to Christie’s International Real Estate’s referral network across more than 50 countries and territories, along with its international marketing resources and ties to Christie’s auction house. Christie’s International Real Estate is owned by Compass International Holdings following Compass’ 2025 acquisition of @properties, while the auction house remains separately owned.

A growing European economy

The expansion comes as Poland has emerged as one of Europe’s stronger-performing major economies. Poland’s gross domestic product grew 3.6 percent in 2025, according to the European Commission, which expects another 3.5 percent expansion this year. By comparison, growth across much of Western Europe has remained considerably slower.

The European Commission said Poland’s growth has been supported by resilient consumer spending and elevated investment, financed, in part, through European Union funds. The International Monetary Fund has similarly described the country’s near-term economic outlook as favorable, though it has warned that rising government deficits and debt present longer-term risks.

Poland has grown into one of the European Union’s largest economies, clocking more than €900 billion in economic output last year and ranking among the bloc’s six largest economies.

That growth has coincided with increasing private wealth and demand for high-end property, according to Christie’s. Vilea said it has seen growing interest from international buyers in Warsaw, while affluent Polish buyers have increasingly sought second homes and investment properties abroad.

The affiliation expands Christie’s International Real Estate’s existing presence in Central and Eastern Europe, where the luxury brand also has affiliates in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Slovakia, the company said.
