Pride Real Estate Connections, LLC is owned by co-founders Devin Schaff and Adriana Rodriguez. Adriana was born in Mexico and has been in the states longer than she was in Mexico. She began in the restaurant business, and owned a restaurant, when a close friend, who is the president of the KW Commercial Real Estate functions, suggested giving real estate a try. She fell in love with helping people and that’s why she is passionate about being here. Devin has owned several businesses in his life. He and his husband got into property management when they bought their 2nd home. A realtor during that process saw Devin and his partner at a house showing and asked them where the wife was and had a negative reaction to their being a couple.After growing tired with the corporate shuffle Devin decided to pursue Real Estate full time, following after his husband who has been at this for a few years prior to that. The Story: Pride REC started as a reaction to the quiet exclusion and subtle discrimination LGBTQ+ individuals face in real estate. The founders, Devin and Adriana, experienced firsthand the exhaustion of having to “edit your life to fit the room” and the fear of wondering, “Is it safe to be myself here?” when buying a home. They built Pride REC to draw a line in the sand. The platform exists to connect LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, families, and allies with affirming real estate agents who don’t hesitate, don’t judge, and don’t require clients to explain themselves. They always try to create a bond with their clients, and a lot of clients become family.
