Google has acquired the robotics firm Boston Dynamics, known for its two- and four-legged robots that can move with agility, balance and speed. The firm is Google’s eighth robotics acquisition in the last six months, according to The New York Times.

“The deal is also the clearest indication yet that Google is intent on building a new class of autonomous systems that might do anything from warehouse work to package delivery and even elder care,” the Times’ John Markoff wrote. Could this also advance robots’ presence in real estate?
