Housefax, which launched in July as a service that provides historical information on homes including building permits, mortgages, fires, floods and sink holes, among other data, has announced an affiliate marketing program for listing portals and brokerages that shares revenue from the reports consumers buy via a new Housefax widget from those sites.

“The program will allow partners to earn a referral fee on report sales generated through their websites, which in turn will provide their customers the ability to purchase a deeper history on the home they are considering,” said Mike Abdy, Housefax president, in a statement.

Allan Dalton, former CEO of, serves on Housefax’s leadership team as chief strategy officer.
