Online auction platform Hubzu has brought former Expedia executive Eric Koenig on board as president, saying his experience and proven track record of execution will increase the pace of innovation and growth at the company.

Koenig served for a year as chief operating officer and senior vice president of global business operations at online travel site Expedia, leaving the position in 2012. Before Expedia, he was head of corporate development at the insurance and risk management giant Aon PLC for four years.

Luxembourg-based Hubzu, part of Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A., “is delivering an innovative online experience by providing home sellers, buyers and their agents with a transparent, efficient and insight-rich marketplace for home sale transactions,” Koenig said in a statement. “We have a significant opportunity to expand our core platform by growing supply, increasing the scope of product offerings and delivering a richer experience to our customers.” Source: prnewswire.com.
