Rental marketplace Lovely has released a consumer-facing Android mobile app that allows users to search for properties in Lovely’s database, connect with landlords directly via email or phone with one tap, save listings they want to follow, and receive “push notifications” to their phone as soon as a listing hits the market that meets their preset criteria.

Lovely’s iOS app, released in November 2012, has recorded 250,000 downloads, according to Lovely.

In November, San Francisco-based Lovely acquired the rental-processing firm Rentmatic and announced the completion of a Series A funding round as it continues its stated push to become the go-to, all-around rental marketplace in the U.S. Currently, Lovely is focused on larger urban markets like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
