CityCrybs, which offers online real estate rental and sale listings for the New York City area, has emerged from beta testing, the company announced this week. CityCrybs now offers a "pay-per-click" marketing service called AdReal, which allows Realtors to increase the exposure of their listings by bidding against one another for premium placement of their properties. The top bidder receives the premium property placement on the site. "Disenfranchised with the status quo, CityCrybs has created a site that benefits both the Realtor and the consumer," CityCrybs stated in the announcement, and the site "does not feature distracting advertising banners or useless consumer functions." Consumers who use the site can establish a relationship with an online Realtor, and they can communicate directly with a Realtor to schedule a viewing, or set up e-mail alerts for newly available properties.
