Warehouse leases inked in Boston suburb

Transactions include new tenant, extension

CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners has brokered two industrial leases totaling 122,000 square feet at 675 Canton St. in Norwood, Mass. The value of the transactions was not disclosed. Located on 18 acres, the property is a 350,000-sqaure-foot warehouse/distribution facility that includes loading facilities and rail access. In the first transaction, Newton, Mass.-based Corporate Interiors signed a 10-year, 60,000-square-foot lease. In the second transaction, PODS Inc., a Clearwater, Fla.-based provider of mobile storage and moving solutions for residential and business customers, signed a 62,000-sqaure-foot, long-term-lease extension. With these two leases, the property is now 93 percent occupied, according to a press statement. CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners represented the landlord, Atlantic Management Corp., a Framingham, Mass.-based real estate investment company, in both transactions.
