Countrywide, Prudential Verani enter joint venture
Create mortgage co. to tap New Hampshire, Massachusetts markets

Countrywide Home Loans and New Hampshire-based Prudential Verani Realty today announced the formation of CMV Home Loans, a mortgage venture that aims to provide home buyers across New Hampshire and Massachusetts with a variety of home financing programs.
CMV Home Loans, an operating division of Countrywide Mortgage Ventures, aims to offer qualified home buyers zero down-payment loans and a variety of fixed- and adjustable-rate options with optimum flexibility on rate and terms.
CMV will also offer Fast & Simple, a special program that enables qualified borrowers with excellent credit access to a streamlined loan application, and extended rate locks to protect the buyer or seller, subject to time limits.
Calabasas, Calif.-based Countrywide Home Loans Inc. originates, purchases, securitizes, sells and services primarily prime-quality loans. Countrywide Mortgage Ventures was founded in 2001 to facilitate joint ventures between Countrywide Home Loans and various home builders, real estate companies and financial services companies.
