Investor, retailer fill San Diego space
Deals total well over 100,000 square feet
By Inman News, Friday, May 5, 2006.Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial on Wednesday announced it has completed sale and lease transactions totaling 126,193 square feet in San Diego County, Calif.
The total value of the transactions was $16 million.
In the first deal, Janez Properties sold an 86,000-square-foot industrial building located at 2310-2320 Camino Vida Roble in San Diego. RJ Realty Investors LLC purchased the property for $9.6 million.
In the second transaction, Sport Chalet Inc. secured a lease for 40,193 square feet of retail space in San Marcos. The landlord, Grand Las Posas LLC, agreed to a 120-month contract for the retailer totaling $6.4 million.
San Diego-based Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial is a privately held commercial real estate brokerage firm operating in San Diego and Riverside counties.
