Mobile listings hit Motown
Real estate tech brief
By Inman News, Monday, February 9, 2009.Consumers looking for real estate in the Detroit metro area can now access for-sale listings on their cell phones.
In a partnership between brokerage Real Estate One and technology provider Smarter Agent, consumers can download the mobile application, Homes For Sale, at realestateone.com to view physical property details, photos, tax information and maps of almost every listing in the Detroit area.
Consumers can search the top 10 properties closest to their current location, or they can search by city/state, community, ZIP code or by entering a specific address.
The application also features a "Call to See" button that connects consumers with an experienced Real Estate One professional who can answer in-depth questions or schedule a tour of the property.
Depending on the carrier and phone type, the Homes For Sale application ranges from free up to $4.99 per month for unlimited usage, billed directly to one's carrier.
