Real estate clock management

A video excerpt from Kris Berg's 'Keeping it Real (estate)'

Inman News®

Kris Berg, broker-owner of San Diego Castles Realty in San Diego, Calif., and a weekly Inman News columnist, offers insight about the tall task of time management in a video excerpt from her Vook, or multimedia book, titled, "Keeping it Real (estate): A Guide to Life, Happiness and the Pursuit of Property."

"There are only so many hours in a day," Berg says. "I've got to balance the time I devote to social media, remembering that sometimes I'm going to have to choose my priorities.

"And when my plate is completely full maybe my blog just doesn't get updated, maybe I don't send out one of those enthralling tweets that says, 'I'm drinking my coffee now,' because ultimately I can let those things go a little bit and no one is going to die and the world is going to march on."

Inman News Publisher Brad Inman is also founder of Vook LLC.

The full version of "Keeping it Real (estate)," which includes a collection of Berg's writing and a series of videos, is available at a special rate of 99 cents for iPhone, iPad or personal computer.

With more and more ways to interact with clients and peers, it becomes increasingly difficult to juggle all those balls at the same time. However, as more technology mediums come on the market, so are solutions to make the use of said mediums more efficient. Great post/video, Kris.

Time management is critical with all of the "time suck" activities that are out there. It is about both time management and managing time priorities.
