ZipVault offers online real estate document storage

New zipLogix tool intended to facilitate paperless transactions

Inman News®

ZipLogix, a real estate tech company operated by a subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors, has launched zipVault, a new software offering that provides for electronic file storage.

The tool allows users to store files created within or outside of zipForm, the company's online real estate forms platform.

Users can "upload and store all documents related to their zipForm transactions in one central location, available online, anytime," according to a company announcement.

Users can create, name and rename electronic folders to organize documents, and documents can be uploaded to zipVault via fax or e-mail.

ZipLogix is a subsidiary of CAR's Real Estate Business Services Inc. and is a joint venture between REBS and the National Association of Realtors.

The addition of the ZipVault feature, as well as the DigitalInk signature feature, is a welcome benefit for CA REALTORS. Our office intends to make good use of both. Having this benefit as an add-on to the easy to use Zipforms programs will really bring our office into the paperless age. PLUS there is a broker feature available that lets my broker oversee all the transactions as the "paperwork" is uploaded.
I am really excited that this benefit has been added and very thankful to see my dues being utilized on programs that will directly enhance our productivity and efficiency
