Smarter Agent gets $6M funding boost
Funding for mobile tech company now totals $18M

Smarter Agent iPhone app screenshot.Mobile applications company Smarter Agent has received an injection of $6 million in investor funding, bringing its total funding to $18 million, the company announced today.
Smarter Agent builds branded mobile apps for real estate agents, brokerages and multiple listings services.
The new funding will, in part, be used for new hiring. The company also announced that Howard L. Shecter had joined the company's board. Shecter is a senior mergers and acquisitions partner at global corporate law firm Reed Smith, and chairman of market research company Harris Interactive.
