Top 10 most searched homes near median U.S. list price
Realtor.com: Half of homes on list are in Florida, Arizona
By Inman News, Thursday, June 23, 2011.Real estate search portal Realtor.com has identified a list of the 10 most-visited for-sale properties on the site that are within 20 percent of the nation's median list price of $195,000.
The list is based on visitor statistics for the week of June 13-19. Three of the properties on the list are in Florida and two are in Arizona. Other properties on the list are in California, Michigan, South Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.
The list prices of the properties range from $169,900 for a home in Weston, Fla., to $210,000 for a home in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; the home sizes range from 940 square feet for a home in Alpine, Ariz., to 6,000 square feet for a home in Detroit; and the lot size ranges from 0.08 acres for a home in Sacramento, Calif., to 4.09 acres for a home in Pickerel, Wis. My admiration for whoever came up with this Top 10 list at Realtor.com, as from a marketing standpoint for them, it is brilliant.
