The event will take place July 27-29, 2011, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel. The app includes the conference program; times, locations, and speakers for each session; and the ability to save sessions on a personal schedule, take and save notes, find a room with built-in floor plans, and share session information through email, Facebook and LinkedIn. The app also includes a Twitter feed for posts that include the #ICSF hashtag.
The home screen will provide real-time updates and reminders about scheduled sessions and program changes. Will Hansen, Inman News vice president of events, described the app as "a Swiss army knife for our attendees."
Mobile applications company ATIV Software built the app on its EventPilot Plus platform. The app is compatible with Apple iPhones and iPads as well as Android devices. A Web version is also available for those with other Web-enabled devices, including BlackBerrys.

Sounds great! Please make sure the WiFi and/or ATT reception works this year. The app is pointless without an internet connection.
