20 top real estate agents, teams in closed sales and dollar volume 
Rankings based on 'The Thousand' report by Real Trends, Wall Street Journal

Flickr/Nina Matthews Photography.In a report that ranks hundreds of top real estate agents and sales teams, 37 agents and 89 teams ranked highly in both closed transaction sides and total dollar volume in sales.
"The Thousand" report, based on 2010 data and prepared by real estate consulting and communications company Real Trends Inc. in collaboration with The Wall Street Journal, is composed of four separate lists of 250: sales professionals by transactions sides; sales professionals by sales volume; real estate teams by transaction sides; and real estate teams by sales volume.
Inman News has narrowed the list down to the 20 most prolific agents and teams, based on their appearance in both the "transaction sides" and "sales volume" rankings.
Agents in the top 20 list (below) had a ranking under 95th in both transaction sides and sales volume. All of the teams on the top 20 list (below) had a ranking of less than 50 in both categories. The top 20 lists are ranked by sales volume.
