Platinum Realty acquires Infinity Realty
By Inman News, Thursday, September 29, 2011.Platinum Realty, the largest independent real estate brokerage in the Kansas City area, just got bigger.
Platinum Realty, which had about 325 agents, announced that it has acquired Infinity Realty, which had about 140 agents.
Scott DeNeve, president and CEO for Platinum Realty, who founded the company in 2005, said in a statement, "It is a common belief in our industry that the 'franchise model' is most successful. However, we have proven that is not the case in Kansas City."
In 2010, Platinum Realty was named the fastest-growing real estate firm in Inc. magazine's annual rankings, with three-year growth of 2011 percent, and 2009 revenue of $2.5 million. The company ranked 129th overall in the 2010 Inc. 500 list.
Platinum Realty has four offices in the Kansas City area, including: Overland Park, Kan.; Gladstone, Mo.; Independence, Mo.; and Summit, Mo.
