A website promoting a high-rise condo in Beirut, Lebanon, has been chosen "Best Real Estate Website" by the Web Marketing Association.
The WMA’s 2011 WebAwards also singled out a dozen "outstanding websites" in the real estate category, including sites operated by Realogy Corp. franchisors Coldwell Banker and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.
Coldwell Banker was recognized for both its website and its image-based "BlueScape" search. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, which introduced "lifestyle search" capabilities this year, earned an "outstanding website" award.
Other websites receiving high marks for design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use were brokerage sites operated by Foxtons.co.uk, New York City-based Halstead Property, San Francisco-based Zephyr Real Estate, and Boca Executive Realty in Boca Raton, Fla. Richmond, Va.-based Long & Foster team Cabell Childress was also recognized with a WebAward.
Apartment search site Rockrose.com was named an "outstanding website," as were apartment search sites operated by BRE Properties and Lyon Communities.
Rounding out the WebAward winners for "oustanding website" were virtual tour operator Home2Market; RusellInvestmentsCenter.com, a website for a Seattle high rise; and Entertainment City Qatar.
