I just looked on Zillow. The Platinum package is $128 per month. That would be $600k per month if all 4700 Howard Hanna agents did that. If they purchase the basic package at $39, it would equate to $180k per month.

Sounds like they negotiated a pretty darn good deal for their agents and customers.

Online effectiveness and online strategy is the secret sauce of a brokerage and its agents. This is a powerful move by a powerful company. What Edina did is equally powerful. These are both great companies testing diverse strategies. Many other companies are testing other variations.

The key lesson for brokers today is to diversify your marketing plan and measure results. Adjust frequently!

This is an interesting strategy. You can join them, or beat them. Brokers who don't want to spend $1 million on a plan like this will have to continue advocating for true fiduciary duty and slowly put an end to "dual agency" transactions through education of the consumer. I'll be curious to see the results of their strategy.

I agree, Victor. Quite a steal. A good read for everyone, especially about the importance of online marketing strategies.
