Gary is right! Twitter is losing. I find it barely useful anymore.

Stay ahead of the masses people! Not lost inside the pile.

Obscure social media can be compared to the evolution of grunge music – if it’s worth knowing about, people will find out about it…whatever it is.

Interesting. Victor makes HIS statement that "Twitter is losing." sound like that is what Gary said. He did not.

Most Realtors (of any generation) don't have a clue about social media and how to use it in business. They are the ones that will be losing.

Gary encourages the use of a variety of social media. Including Twitter.

The use of social media is great for many businesses, but in the Real Estate Industry most Real Estate Professionals market themselves in the area in which they work and live.
You want to combine online with just good old fashioned networking. Using both Online and Offline Marketing correctly will make you stand out.

Finding the right balance is key, yes. But knowing when to adjust one's balance is just as important. At the very least, RE professionals should be open to new directions, including forays into social media.

Twitter is a great tool, however for the most part your "Tweet" only lasts for about 1 second especially if your followers are following a bunch of other people. I think a great way to take twitter on step further is to build relationships with your "followers" by replying to their "tweets", "RT" which means Re-Tweeting their tweet and Direct message. Building a rapport is huge and builds trust between you and the other twitter user.

Excellent video. Use the new media available..all of it and plan more is coming and find ways to keep it fed with information people want. Not how great you are..but here is some free information on this, that, and everything in between about the area you serve. Don't just think real estate..think what would I want to have at my fingertips if I knew nothing about the town/city the real estate is in. Then go out and make the local community videos, do the FAQ vidcast answers..be helpful, friendly and talk one on one to them, not at them.

Gary is the best thing to hit the business world in a very long time. Looking forward to his new book "Crush It" coming out in a few weeks. Every Realtor should have a copy.
