In a product release that is likely to mark one of the latest advances in the Internet of Things, Samsung reportedly is set to introduce an app that would let people control home smart devices from one centralized platform.
The tech giant plans to synchronize “Smart Home” with both Samsung and third-party products, letting people communicate with a wide array of smart devices that adjust conditions such as lighting and temperature.
Samsung isn’t the only company trying to consolidate smart home devices. Revolv is another example of a product that aggregates them into one platform creating a “unified smart home.”
