Seven real estate applications made the list of finalists for the Inman Innovator Award this year in the real estate transaction category. The 2004 finalists in this award category include Stewart Information Services Corp.’s SureClose, Qcorps Residential’s Resident Connection Service Network, Online Insight’s Solutions Suite, VREO Software’s brokerage platform, Reach Each 1 by Reach Communications, NewportWorks’ Anytime MLS and CDM’s TransactionDesk.
Stewart Information’s SureClose is a secure real estate communication and transaction management Web site. It unites all parties in the closing process, including home buyer, home seller, real estate agent and broker, lender, settlement service providers and the local Stewart agent. SureClose enables parties to monitor a transaction’s progress; view, print and download documents; post and receive messages; and receive automatic notifications when the transaction is updated with new events.
Qcorps’ Resident Connection Service Network provides telephone, cable and other services hookups to home buyers through real estate brokerage companies. The service enables consumers to compare and purchase utilities, telecommunications and other household services online.
The network consists of customized online “move centers” that are privately branded by various companies.The Qcorps service is free to real estate brokers, who in turn provide the service free to apartment tenants and home buyers. Qcorps is paid by service providers within its network, which include SBC Communications, Qwest, Time-Warner and Comcast, among others.
Online Insight’s interactive software provides simple, conversational interaction between real estate agents, their customers and prospective clients. The Solutions Suite assists users when making complex buying decisions, informs agents with preference-rich prospect data and enables marketing and product management with analytic tools.
VREO’s brokerage platform
VREO Software Systems’ brokerage business software platform incorporates a full range of back-end administrative functions that include real estate transaction features, Web site administration, built-in marketing tools and site reporting. The company offers software platforms at the agent level, corporate level and broker level.
Reach Each 1
Reach Communications’ Reach Each 1 is a Web-based system that enables real estate agents to keep in touch with clients and prospects. The patent-pending system allows agents to create, edit and send notes, messages and newsletters whomever, whenever, automatically. Every communication includes the agent’s personal look and feel created from the company’s collection of Smart Designs.
Newport Works’ Anytime MLS enables real estate agents in participating MLSs to search for-sale listings by phone, 24/7. The system includes a service that will call the agent, send an e-mail or text message when a property that matches their clients’ criteria enters the MLS. Agents who call in to listen to listing information can choose from general information, which includes status, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, occupant’s name and phone number, lockbox info and location. Agents can also listing to the listing agent’s remarks about the property.
Concepts in Data Management’s TransactionDesk is a complete end-to-end real estate transaction management system. TransactionDesk is based on the InstanetForms technology and incorporates the electronic postmark to provide a system with interactive, digitally-signed contracts. Real estate agents using the system can have their documents signed, sealed and delivered electronically.
