Overnight mortgage rates steady

30-year stays at 5.38%; 10-year Treasury holds at 4.13%

Long-term mortgage interest rates were flat Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield stayed at 4.13 percent. The 30-year fixed-rate average held at 5.38 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate remained at 4.79 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 3.24 percent. The 30-year Treasury bond yield was unchanged at 4.9 percent. Rates are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
